Whatever your captioning needs, we have cost-effective solutions
Real-time captioning
Live news, sports and entertainment shows: E.g., NHL Hockey—programs where it's impossible to use post display or off-line captioning for taped programs that have extra technical challenges or extremely tight turnaround times.
Primarily for films, DVDs, or episodic programs that are not time sensitive.
This type of captioning requires much more time—often 8-10 hours to produce one
hour of product. Selected list of CCS shows: Cabin Country,
Electric Playground, In Good Faith, Reviews on the Run,
Speakers Corners.
Post-display captioning
An off-line captioning environment where the captioner produces a caption file from a videotape of the program, then dials in to the broadcaster's encoder and audio coupler, then coordinates the uploading of the caption file with the VTR operator to create a captioned submaster.
Live Internet feed (e.g., Webinars)
With the enormous increase of the Internet as a source of news and entertainment, captioning is required—and already legislated in some jurisdictions—for broadcasters much in the same way as all still pictures have alternate captions now.
